“Inside My Ribcage” was commissioned by Darci Bultema and Audrey Miller with generous support from Northern State University. It will be a part of a recital called Songs of Inclusivity that the ensemble will present at both Clarinetfest and the National Association of Teachers of Singing National Convention this summer. Jocelyn has selected four poems by Noor Unnahar, a young Pakistani woman known for her social media posts and blogs melding poetry, photography, and design. Unnahar’s poetry is modern, feminist, colorful, and evocative of her Pakistani culture and world.
