Over the years I have set MANY of Julia’s brilliant poems. She is a wonderful collaborator, and I’ve also commissioned several poems from her for specific projects. Her language is perfect for songs– always direct and honest.
One of my favorite settings of her poetry is my song cycle Kiss.
