As part of EYSO’s 50th anniversary, this concert explores the future of their musical journey.

Jocelyn Hagen's Ashes of Roses initiates this concert, a new setting of the Requiem (the Mass for the Dead). The work, for soloists, chorus and orchestra, gets its name from Elaine Goodale Eastman’s poem “Ashes of Roses,” which is incorporated into the traditional Latin text of the Requiem. The Greeley Chorale pairs this with Sunrise

Works inspired by scientific curiosity, ingenuity, and invention, featuring Jocelyn Hagen’s The Notebooks of Leonardo da Vinci , a multimedia concert experience for choir, chamber orchestra, and video projections.

The Müller Chamber Choir(木樓合唱團) will perform Agnus Dei from Ashes of Roses at their June concert.

Festival Gala Concert featuring the world premiere of 'Rose Ever Blooming' and Schubert’s 'Mass in G'.

The UM School of Music presents their Symphonic Wind Ensemble and Concert Band at the Dennison Theatre (James Smart, conductor). Featured in the concert is Hagen's theatrical work for wind symphony, Medusa, with soprano Caitlin Cisler.

The San Diego State University Symphony Orchestra and Combined Choirs join forces with the San Diego Master Chorale, the San Diego Children's Chorus, and the North Coast Singers in an evening of music that includes a performance of Aaron Copland's 'Appalachian Spring' and the West Coast Premiere of Jocelyn Hagen's 'We Are The Lucky Ones.'
